The FREUZEUG Brand.

The Freuzeug brand and all products and projects we designed under this label are perfect examples of TAKE YOUR PLEASURE SERIOUSLY:

In 2004, as young parents, we were always looking for new business ideas. So we created the concept label FREUZEUG and the first product and innovation we loved were the WECHSELHAUBEN for the BUGABOO – the then super stylish, functional and exclusive kinderwagen We took action, purchased 300 meters of top notch Ökotex fabric, found a decent textile printer and after a long and intensive search, found a sewing company in Poland – what a meeting at Dunkin’ Donuts at Berlin Alexanderplatz with Alexei, when we discussed the details and handed over the Schnittmuster.

Freuzeug concept store for delicatessen and life style accessories

Early 2011 we saw a FOR RENT sign for a little retail space. A nice coincident as we were not looking for a new space. We loved the location so we arranged a meeting with the real estate agents. Then we really fell in love with the place and signed the lease.

The Idea: Office space for our advertising agency in the back and in the front area create a little shop for DELICATESSEN from Franconia and our own culinary creations.

We offered and imported Sausages, Mustard, Pates, Wine, Schnapps, Beer, Chocolate, Oil, Vinegars, Spices, Books, Music and eventually design and home accessories. Two criteria of selection were a must for each product to make it to our store: 1. We loved it. 2. We are the first place in Hamburg to sell it.

And of course we sold a great variety of our own delicatessen with names such as: Swinging Tomatinos, Freestyle Amatriciana, Smashing Pumpkins and the legendary SOFT, SWEET N’ SOUR RED ONION.

During the course of 5 years, we hosted, organized and designed around 30 Sales and Tasting Events in and in front of the Store.
