„2000, zero-zero, party over, oops, out of time. So tonight, I’m gonna party like it’s 1999.“
The late genius Prince reminded us that we never know when we’re out of time and better get going now than later. So in 1999, we started our own consultancy for business development and project management, billed our own hours and took charge when and why we worked. And it worked out.

After our New York City engagement, we were fully charged and fully loaded with inspiration,
energy, possibility and drive, so we built our own co-working space with a group of creative,
design and tech partners.

We called the 300 sqm space LOWER ALTONA and and loved every tiny bit of it as we crafted the details with our own hands. Economy was slow though after the Dotcom bubble burst and the concept of co-working and New Work still was avant-garde. Being the first mover is a great plus in educated markets, being too early can be a real pain in the belly. in 2003, we decided to move offices to a tiny Loft space in a pre-hip area and focused our energy on corporate clients.

Ever since we started our professional lives in the advertising, consulting and design businesses, new technologies and innovation have been super present. With the increasing speed of innovation it is good to draw from over 25 years of experience and to move forward with confidence and determination. We give technology meaning and value. Technology alone has no value at all.

As technology has the power to transform the way we work and communicate, we as human beings have the opportunity to transform the way we feel, think and behave in this ever changing environment. As much as business is a means to achieve performance indicators based on numbers and objectives it becomes more and more a means for purpose, happiness, going deeper and raising our awareness and consciousness.

The statistics are stunning: 90% of new business ideas fail with the first 6 month. Put it another way: The idea itself is 10% the major part is implementation. We have learned that its the small steps and the number of steps you are able to make into the right direction. Its the momentum that an idea develops over time by taking action on a daily basis. We love making ideas happen. We love turning visions into reality.

We also call this „The Power of Letting Go“. Even in Germany with a business culture deeply rooted in engineering and industrial mass production, the awareness of failure and need for failure are finally improving. No real change, no true innovation, no substantial transformation without failure.
So whenever we declare an idea, or project as failed, we make sure to thoroughly let our failure go by celebrating it, seeing it and learning from it and than saying thanks and good bye.

See above. Every new project, new business, new idea is a new endeavour. No guarantee for success, no guarantee for getting your time and money worth.

When we start a new project we rarely ask „What are the risks“ or what are the potential downsides. We ask „Does it fill our hearts and brains with love, desire and purpose“ If thats a yes, we are convinced that such new ideas eventually will also fill our pockets.

Or the power of working together with brilliant people. Regardless what we create, we are always fully aware of the importance, value and often friendship of our collaboration partners. Regardless of volume and complexity, we always give our full awareness, presence and appreciation to everybody we interact with. Thank you!
